conic section:
Tapered wing is called the intercept where a right circular cone of two sheets with aplane that passes through its apex.

Is a closed symmetrical curve is short because the surface of a cone with a planeoblique to the axis of symmetry that has a greater angle than does the generatrix to the axis of revolution.

Parable:
In math you want to hang parabola conic section resulting from cutting a right cone with a plane parallel to its generatrix.

Hyperbola:
The hyperbola is a conic section or an open curve with two branches that are obtained by cutting a right cone with a plane oblique to the axis of symmetry the angle of symmetry is lower than that of the generatrix to the axis of revolution
